Single-family rental market is hot right now

Yes, the single-family rental (SFR) market continues to be strong across the U.S. One piece of proof? Our client, AHV Communities, according to a Builder magazine article we placed, is planning a 244-unit single-family detached rental home community on a newly acquired 48-acre site in the Austin, Texas, metro market. We also got them mentioned in a Multihousing News article on the most efficient marketing techniques to reach prospects in the hot SFR market.

Good design, livability, and housing

Nancy Keenan, president and CEO of DAHLIN Architecture Planning Interiors, sat down with ProBuilder’s Women at WIRC Podcast to discuss finding thoughtful, creative ways to infuse the soul of design and livability into residential projects while also addressing the realities of elusive housing attainability and a challenging entitlement environment.

Attention: more apartments needed

Approximately 4.3 million new apartments will be necessary by 2035 to meet rising demand, according to new research from the National Multifamily Housing Council and National Apartment Association.

The new builds are necessary to address a deficit of 600,000 apartment homes that exist in large part thanks to the 2008 financial crisis, the research found.

Twitter makes moves

Twitter is now letting businesses with professional accounts display their location address, hours of operation, and additional contact information on their profiles. Twitter says this gives customers a way to reach businesses directly via phone, text, email or DMs. We say it’s about time. If you’re a brand on Twitter you’re probably there to engage with followers and this new feature will help increase that engagement.
